I'm Liza.
I spent a decade at Microsoft, went to Stanford GSB, and became a founder.
Along the way, I got obsessed with a question:
Why do some incredibly capable people move forward while others work just as hard and stay stuck?
That question led me into career strategy, negotiation, power, communication, AI and the systems ambitious people use to create leverage.
I don't believe
ambition requires
an apology.
I love building companies.
I also want a big life outside work.
I'm raising two girls. I care about the work I do, the people I do it with, the books I read, the places I go and the life I'm building around all of it.
Disgustingly Ambitious is for people who feel the same way.
